We at Chennai(South Chennai to be precise) felt Tremors around 5ish today for a couple of times. We could feel the chairs shaking and the overhanging lights having a swing. We rushed downstairs to be safe. Our office is a three-storied building. The first and second floor experienced the tremors but the ground floor colleagues were oblivious to the occurrence. I have not see anyone covering it so far expect this tamil article.
Luke mentioned that there was one reported in Rajasthan today.’
Anyone of you guys out there who felt the same today in Chennai?

Seems like Andaman and Nicobar Islands experienced a more severe one.

You might have known this by now. The reason for the tremors felt in Chennai was a side effect of what happened in Andaman and Nicobar Islands which measured 6.7 on the Richter Scale.
