Nostalgia from childhood days..and hence this post. While the main influence of this post is the two words - Waitees (for stop or pause) and Jooties (for resume or start).
You might have seen these two words in wikipedia under ‘Tanglish‘ or ‘Madras Tamil’. Of course there is nothing ‘Madras’ about the word. Growing up in Coimbatore, these two words were common during all kind of games from ‘Hide N Seek’ to ‘Cricket’ to even when people are chasing you(yes, you need to take a break now and then during pursuits).
But then, these two words are very profound as well. You need to pause from time to time and resume activities or tasks after sufficient rest. You can call it rejuvenation or break or anything, but the essence is the same.
Alright, enough of my sermon, enjoy the rest of the day!
