Mindinspirations.com now powered by wordpress 2.5

Well, many of you might know that Wordpress 2.5 has officially been released after a couple of RC’s. I finally decided to change from 2.3.3 to 2.5 and it went on smoothly. There are many features as a part of the new 2.5 version and these new features have been mentioned in detail in their website. I just found one feature very effective and hence this post.

Anyone using wordpress knows that plugins can be installed to achieve various functionalities. They also have a separate administrative page to activate/deactivate the plugins.  But when it comes to upgrading the plugin (the plugins page announces when a new version is available for each of the plugins), you will have to download the latest plugin and upload to the server that hosts the blog. It is always cumbersome to do such an upgrade each time. But wordpress 2.5 has this cool feature which allows upgrading automatically from the plugins page. Here is a snapshot of it.
