Life is never about making big changes once in a while and expecting those changes to totally revolutionize their world from that moment onwards. Life is about making those small changes every day, and these small changes accumulate over time and bring in the big impact. It is always a cumulative effect in life. Everyday, life brings about in people, small changes that make a difference, small changes that matter the most at that precise moment. Life is all about living in the present and enjoying that very moment. As it is said, no one knows what the future holds for him.
I have day in and day out prayed for change to happen, and was anguished with no response from GOD above. For some reason, life has never been so forthcoming especially off-late- such was my thought. Today I happened to witness a sea change within me. I was driving back from work and I was thinking about the books I am reading, the new things I am working on (both within me and around me) and I involuntarily asked myself ‘what more do you need Shiva?’. What it taught me is that I should live in the present and continuously strive to make small changes, not because of any compulsion, but because of the feeling of spontaneous urge to do so. Small changes, new routines, acts of kindness, being more forthcoming, more benevolence…whatever it may be, just make it count that very moment when it strikes you. That is the change within that I am talking about.
If there were a product to capture such small changes, improvisations, modifications both implicit and explicit in you, then it will tell how much has been accomplished. While there might be miracles, wherein you are totally bowled over by how it comes to existence from nowhere, GOD or the supreme power will tell you, will remind you about the small changes that has come about in you, the small tests that were thrown at you, and those that you have learned from and adapted effectively. All these put together is the sum total called ‘Miracle’. While I don’t want to try and simplify what miracle is, I think every day and every change, improvement and adaptation paves its way to the final D-Day when the miracle’s grand finale stages itself.
Nothing happens all of a sudden and neither should it. If you feel something has happened for all of a sudden and you term it as good or blessing in disguise, then it probably is just a catalyst for you to align yourself with the right frame of mind to receive such a miracle. It means that the actual miracle (a group of small and totally unrelated changes put together) is waiting to happen.
Everyday, just tune in, to enjoy the day and catch whatever is thrown at you, tackle whatever comes your way with no fixed target or scale to achieve. Life is giving its best when welcomed with an open heart. You will surely see that what blossoms within you is truly a miracle and each day will contribute in its own way to that miracle.

Shiva,
So today Shiva is in a philosophical mood, eh?
Ok. On a more serious note, do you subscribe to H2H? If not do so. It helps me in making those small steps in trying to become a better me… and I am sure it would be of great help to you too.
Your train of though is good - I try to follow it too. One practical good that I derive out of it is that it has brought more peace (as you say) and thus, has helped me spend more quality time at office, with family and friends.

@Shyam
Dude,
I used to subscribe to H2H. Will do so again. Actually the post is a sum total of what I have been going through for the past few months. Just an introspection on how we always expect a change to be a single solution to solve all the things we have in mind but it isnt actually so. But if we carefully watch every day, the intention will manifest in small but clear ways.
